Alliant Insurance Services Acquires Employee Benefits Firm

December 21, 2010 -  Alliant Insurance Services, the nation's largest specialty insurance brokerage firm, has acquired ArlenGroup, a leading regional full-service employee benefits firm with offices in downtown San Francisco and Walnut Creek, Calif. ArlenGroup will continue to operate under its existing identity. 

ArlenGroup is headed by founder and CEO Roger Arlen, CEBS, and co-founder and Vice President Bret Goodman, CEBS. With a staff of over 40 benefit professionals, the 15-year-old firm focuses on meeting the benefits needs of companies with 50 to over 2,500 employees.  

ArlenGroup specializes in providing employee benefit solutions to technology and professional service firms, with a special expertise in the health and welfare benefits needs of medium and large size law firms. The firm's comprehensive suite of services is delivered through four practice groups; benefits, outsourcing, Technology and wellness.
